Under Members in the Backstage, you manage everyone with a Backstage account: invite a new member, edit their details, or deactivate an account they no longer need.
This is also where you assign roles. Open a member's profile and tick which of the roles described in User roles they should hold — a member can have several roles at once, or none beyond the baseline "User" role everyone has.
