By signing up for Mozivio, or by using a Mozivio-powered website or Backstage as a member of a subscribed association, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are signing up on behalf of a music association ("your band"), you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that association.
Mozivio is a subscription platform for music associations: a public website ("Frontstage"), a member-management and administration tool ("Backstage"), and a companion mobile app ("Mozzy"). Your band controls its own content, members and settings; Mozivio provides and maintains the platform it all runs on.
Your band's administrators are responsible for who gets Backstage access and what role they're given. Keep login credentials confidential — anything done under an account is treated as done by that account's owner. You're responsible for keeping member and content information accurate and for moderating what gets published on your Frontstage.
Sheet music, images, documents, recordings and any other material your band uploads to Mozivio ("Content") remains your band's property. By uploading it, you grant Mozivio the limited right to store, host and display it back to you and your members solely in order to provide the service. Alongside that, the following applies specifically to copyright:
This is also why every sheet-music upload in Backstage asks you to explicitly confirm your band holds the necessary rights before the file is saved.
Don't use Mozivio to publish illegal, defamatory or harassing content, to send unsolicited bulk messages, to attempt to access another band's data, or to interfere with the platform's normal operation. We may suspend access while investigating a suspected violation.
Mozivio is billed per band, per year, according to the plan (Start, Plus or Ultra) you choose at signup. Plan limits (members, storage, sheets, features) are described on our pricing page. Non-payment may result in suspension of your Backstage and Frontstage until resolved.
Upgrading takes effect immediately: you pay the new plan's price minus a credit for the unused days remaining on your current plan (calculated as those remaining days ÷ 365 × what you paid for your current plan), and your subscription becomes valid for a fresh full year from the upgrade date. Downgrading is self-service via your Account page, effective from your next renewal. Cancelling stops your next renewal; there are no refunds for time already paid for, but you keep full access for the remainder of your current paid period.
Price changes: we may adjust a plan's price for future billing periods, but never retroactively for a period you've already paid for. We'll notify you of a price change at least 30 days before your next renewal, by email to your band's admin account. If you don't agree with the new price, you may cancel free of charge before that renewal, per the cancellation terms above. Renewing after an announced price change means you accept the new price.
Mozivio uses Mollie to process payments. For your own Mozivio subscription, Mozivio covers the Mollie transaction fee — the price shown on our pricing page is what you pay, in full. Some Backstage features may in future let your band collect payments from its own members or supporters (for example ticket sales, membership fees, or sponsor payments); we'll announce the terms and any fees that apply once those features are available.
We aim to keep Mozivio reliably available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service — maintenance, updates or circumstances outside our control can cause temporary downtime. Support is available through the channels listed on our contact page.
The Mozivio platform itself — its software, design, themes and branding — remains the property of Mozivio. Your subscription grants you the right to use it for your band's own website and administration; it doesn't transfer ownership of the platform to you.
We never sell your data, or your members' data, to anyone — not for advertising, not to data brokers, not to anyone else. Mozivio makes money from subscriptions, not from data.
For the personal data your band stores in Mozivio (member names, emails, phone numbers, instrument, attendance, and anything you choose to publish on your Frontstage), your band is the data controller and Mozivio is the data processor — the same relationship you'd have with any software vendor handling data on your behalf. In practice, this means:
Mozivio's own tracking (used only on our marketing site and, optionally, a band's demo environment) is a self-hosted, cookie-free analytics tool — it doesn't use tracking cookies and doesn't build cross-site profiles, so no cookie-consent banner is needed for it. Backstage's login session itself relies on a single strictly-necessary session cookie, which under EU rules also doesn't require consent.
This section is a summary, not a substitute for a full Data Processing Agreement — if your band needs one for its own compliance records, get in touch and we'll provide one.
You may cancel your subscription at any time, per section 6 above (effective at the end of the current billing period, no refund for time already paid for). We may suspend or terminate an account for violation of these terms, non-payment, or content that infringes someone else's rights. Where reasonably possible, we'll give you the opportunity to export your data first.
Mozivio is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, Mozivio is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, including lost revenue, lost data, or reputational harm — including damages arising from Content your band or its members upload.
We may update these terms from time to time, for example as the platform grows new features. We'll post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date; continued use of Mozivio after an update means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes will be submitted to the courts with jurisdiction over Mozivio's registered office, unless mandatory consumer-protection law says otherwise.
