Under Settings in the Backstage, Mozivio managers configure everything general about your band's identity and public website. Nothing here needs to be filled in to launch — every field has a sensible default or simply stays hidden until you add something.
Your band's name and a short subtitle (e.g. "Music association 777"), shown in the navigation bar, the browser tab, and throughout your site.
Your theme (see theme selection for all 8 options), a primary and secondary brand color, and a font pairing. These colors and fonts are woven through every theme automatically — buttons, links, headings — so you don't need to design anything by hand.
Two independent language settings live here. Backstage language only changes the admin screens you and your board see — English, Dutch or French. Website language controls the generic text on your public website (menu, buttons, empty-list messages, and so on) — the same three languages, plus an Other option: pick it and a panel appears where you translate those fixed public-site strings into your own language yourself, field by field. Pages, news and any other content you write remain in whichever language you wrote them in, regardless of either setting. A board member can, for example, run the Backstage in French while the public site itself is in Dutch.
Shown in your site's navigation bar and Backstage sidebar. Pick one from your Frontstage files or upload a new one directly here. No logo yet? A neat circular badge with your band's initial is shown instead — never a broken image.
The "hero" is the large, full-width banner at the top of your homepage — the first thing a visitor sees. The photo itself is set on the Home page in Frontstage content (its "Hero image" field), not here. What you configure here is what's layered on top of that photo: a color tint and its opacity (to keep your title text readable over any photo), and an optional subtle decorative pattern (size, opacity) repeated across the background.
The email address and phone number shown to visitors — used, among other places, as the default destination for your contact form (see Frontstage content).
Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Flickr — each is entirely optional. Leave one blank and nothing is shown for it anywhere, no empty placeholder icon. As soon as you fill one in and save, a round icon button for it automatically appears in two places: your homepage's hero (or, on themes with a page-hero on every page, there too) and your site's footer, on every page.
A short line of text shown at the bottom of every page, under your band's name (e.g. "Music association 777"). Leave it blank to use a sensible default built from your organization's name and subtitle.
At the bottom of the page you'll also find your website's URL and the current system version — useful when reporting a problem, but not something you edit.
